Hieroglyphs
Hieroglyphs are characters made in the shape of objects. In other words, they are pictures of things. These are special characters that can be used in social media services and chats, derived from the hieroglyphs that humans first started using. The hieroglyphs provided by snskeyboard.com are Egyptian hieroglyphs. Since Egyptian hieroglyphs have been used for a very long time, they have undergone significant changes over time. Generally, languages tend to become simpler in form and increase in the number of characters as eras change. Therefore, later hieroglyphs have a complex system that functions similarly to phonetic characters rather than literally creating pictures. There are so many Egyptian hieroglyphs that mastering all of them takes a long time. However, we focus on the forms of Egyptian hieroglyphs themselves. Because the existence and shape of objects form the structure of hieroglyphs, they can be considered suitable for use as emoticons.

Did you know that there are already special characters used today that are hieroglyphs? For example, characters that mimic a shining star in the sky (☆) or a heart shape (♡) are examples of hieroglyphs.

Just like special characters, there can be issues with using hieroglyphs, so please keep this in mind. The unicode for hieroglyphs is not commonly used. Therefore, sometimes the display of hieroglyphs may be arbitrarily restricted or unsupported on certain platforms. Copy the examples of hieroglyphs provided by snskeyboard.com to check if they display correctly, and paste them into the platform you wish to use.
Detailed Usage Instructions
Since hieroglyphs follow the shape of objects, they provide a more direct expression than other languages. Therefore, when used correctly, they can facilitate communication. The hieroglyphs provided by snskeyboard are based on Egyptian hieroglyphs. Egyptian hieroglyphs contain many forms of humans and animals, so first, find the desired item in the 'Categories'. Then, locate the text you want to copy and tap or click it. These items will be automatically registered in the white box at the bottom. Once you have selected all the characters you want to copy, press the copy button to finish the process.
Troubleshooting
add The hieroglyphs are too small to see.
Unfortunately, Egyptian hieroglyphs are originally quite small overall. If there is an editor mode that allows you to adjust the text size, enlarging the size of the hieroglyphs while writing is a solution.
add Are there other hieroglyphs?
This list contains all the Egyptian hieroglyphs that have been publicly released in unicode up until now. (As of April 2, 2020)
Usage Examples
Hieroglyphs symbolically express shapes. Therefore, by using hieroglyphs, you can shorten long texts and express what you want to say. However, using too many can make it difficult for users to understand the sentence itself, creating barriers to meaning transmission. For example, a simple and clear profile on Instagram can be composed of a single hieroglyph or use the morphological characteristics of hieroglyphs. When special characters can be used in games, hieroglyphs can be used to stylishly decorate IDs!
